We're going to Spain!

After a long month of choice options being presented, we decided not to go to Lithuania as initially planned. Once we got over that hump, the travel itch was still there so I started looking through this interesting book my mom sent me. I stumbled upon this organization called WWOOF. www.wwoof.org Check it out! It has hundreds of listings of organiz farms in over 60 countries that want strangers to come work on their farm...for free! Well, you have to work for them. But you get to stay and eat and get to know people and live with them. Anyway, we bought tickets this week to fly into Barcelona. After a few days there, we plan to take an overnight ferry trip out to an island called Mollarca. It's all Mediterraneany and gorgeous. We're going to work on a 1,000 year old estate that has a ton of history. Right now, it sounds like there will be lots of sheep stuff to do...shearing and lambing. Hopefully no making lamb chops, but I'm open to it...I guess. We're really excited about it even though the only thing for certain right now is that we have air tickets. Jon helps me fly by the seat of my pants sometimes. It will be great to share our experience with you all. Here's to wwoofing!
